I'd be reluctant to click on a video link without some vague notion as to what I'm going to see, could you give us some kind of explanation as to why the video is 'controversial'?

Its about how the US debt is getting out of hand and how they are on the verge of a currency crisis much worse than ever seen before.

No real surprise to me, the only question in my book is 'when' ?

All 'the kicking of the can' is simply delaying and making the end fall all the harder. 'Soft landing' sound familiar ? Not a chance in hell.

    Again, question is . . . timing.

But then, most think I'm fringe

Its a sales pitch, but still, a lot of fact included.
Quick, run out and subscribe ;)

Yeah. I think the only thing i disagree with in the video is that china are reducing their holding in USD. The US buy so many of china's goods that its in china's benefit to keep the USD from failing. It could be this that saves the US in the end imo.

Can't believe I watched as much of that sh*te as I did, all 5 minutes of it.....

Anyway, I searched 'Porter Stansberry' on youtube to see what popped up, the same video is there clocking in at over an hour . Of course all the usual sh*te pops up too, illuminati, NWO, David Icke ...blah blah blah!

Anyway the world is set to pack it in at the end of this year so I wouldn't worry too much about financials or America....:pac:

Conspiracy theory forum for this thread i'm thinking.

Is the US not one of the most indebted countries of the developed world. Yes they have a great capability as a trading superpower but the deficit /debt (much of it held by Chinese) levels are unprecedented making the Eurozone problems (excluding Greece) pale into insignificance.

Amazing yet annoying to see US officials lecturing Europe about how to get our respective markets in order. More US hypocrisy "do as I say not as I do".

    :(

Im not overly worried about the US financials in themselves, but the effect on the global economy is a very diff story. Some people just cant grasp the size of some of these figures, and so just deny the seriousness of the situation.

Next couple of years are going to be very interesting.
