Does the s in the top right hand side in the silver hologram indicate a silencer is granted or is that a different s

Bottom left just under the word Firearm in the line where it reads Firearm cert no. xxxxxxxxx is where your plain black S should be as Kildare said.

If you ticked the box for a moderator on your application form, but didn't get an S on your license follow it up. I applied for my HMR and got the S, applied for my .223 and didn't get the S. However, when I asked about this I was told my .223 license was misprinted, that I was cleared to have a moderator on the Garda Pulse system, but that no new cert would be issued. I sort of made a pain of myself (politely) with the local Garda until it WAS reissued correctly.

The funniest part was, whoever the local Gardai were talking to about reissuing my license told them that they couldn't guarantee that the new license would be correctly printed either :pac: You couldn't make it up.
