Best way to get fit imo is running/cycling or swimming.
Is there any of these you particularily like ?

You wont lose any weight as long as you increase the amount of calories you consume in accordance with the amount of exercise you do.

Do you own a decent scales , your own good quality scales is the only way to track your weight effectively.

    Thanks for your quick reply!
I enjoy running but i was hoping to do some excersie at home also, i cant seem to run very far anymore without becoming out of breath and getting a cramp so i figured some sort of exercise at home might help before i start running?

Couch to 5k is what you need to get you back running if you stick to it you would do well building up fitness etc.

Maybe others could advise on the best at home type exercises .

Here is a link to the couch to 5k program http://www.c25k.com/
