3) Public Sector vs Private sector

4) Those who believe in religion vs Atheists/Agnostics

Even when threads are started not based on these topics they quickly transcend into one of them...

Do people not get fed up of arguing the same shi.t day in, day out knowing that they are going to end up arguing the same point of view with the same group of people, resulting in nothing?

Any chance of somebody coming up with something new to argue and abuse others about? It's like fcuking ground hog day in here!

They like to reinforce their opinions as well as reorganise them under societies gaze.

Depends on the purpose of the argument.
These are topical issues so they crop up a lot and everyone has a personal take on them.

You simply present your views supported with evidence and hope this persuades others. You review their counter claims and reevaluate your initial position based on that.

The problem is when people's ego's come into play where one party when faced with irrefutable evidence against their argument, can't admit their wrong and the topic descends into a loop with no 'winner'.

But I don't get involved in these repeat topics. It's the people who do that need the fresh air. AH can be entertaining at times, but now it's like having one TV station with the same few shows on repeat.
