Batman Danny Elfman Score - NCH

    Was walking by the National Concert Hall this morning and saw a poster for Danny Elfmans Batman original soundtrack. All the composed tracks from the 1980's movie.

    Cool poster with Micheal Keaton as Batman holding up the Joker towards the end of the film.

    anyone got any info on this? Website blocked in work.

    Wondering is it the original orchestra and Elfman himself or if its some cover etc.

    It's being run as part of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.
    Elfman isn't attending. As well as his own work, the concert will also feature music by composers who influenced Elfman: Bernard Herrmann, Philip Glass and Erich Wolfgang Korngold. Tickets on sale from the National Concert Hall.

    Touch misleading, I only realised it wasn't Elfman performing when I saw a brochure inside, at the box office before I finished paying.

    Still bought the tickets and hoing for a good night :)

    Was a cracking show by the way.

    Standing ovation at the end, the Batman suite was mind blowing, the whole thing was incredible and thoroughly enjoyable :)

    They are doing John Williams in May, definitly recommended
