If you fail an exam and have to do a summer repeat does this have any impact on your BTEA? Would they have to be informed?

As BTEA wouldn't continue over the summer unless you were doing an approved work placement as part of your academic course, the question really would be would repeating an exam in the summer, assuming you don't have work and are back on JSA, affect your JSA payment? It shouldn't affect the JSA payment as you will not be back in college at lectures etc., can study in the evenings and be looking for work and fully available for work. So, it would really just be a matter of being unavailable for work for those hours of the actual repeat exam. Strictly speaking, you should inform SW of that and they would dock you for the day.
