Any recommendations for a good golf game for PC? Or is Tiger Woods the only way to go?

We are about 4 weeks from launching our own game. As some of you may know we specialise in helping golf clubs interactively market to golfers and this is one part of it.

    Here is a quick preview - http://vimeo.com/31251987

Irish courses included will be Portmarnock Links, Carton x 2, Hermitage and Killeen castle and Roganstown, with a few other clubs in talks at the moment.

The game itself will be offered for free but each course will cost $10 or a little cheaper as part of a bundle.

All our courses are fully compatible with

Interesting Golfgraffix. Are you just providing the golf courses that can be played using the 2 devices you've linked to? Or are you working on something seperate?

I've never heard of either of those, they look like simullators yet somehow they are compatible with Tiger Woods? Can't figure that one out. The whole beauty of those 'games' is that they are very much 'no simulation' so you can whack it 365 yards in the game. You're going to be at a pretty severe disadvantage using the device in Tiger Woods if it's a simluation of your own swing :) - altho there are some pretty big hitters on here by all accounts so maybe not :P

No we are launching a brand new simulation software. Our aim is to try and recreate the golfing experience in an affordable home simulator.

The Launchpad is pretty cool, it is more for fun and won't give you exact replication if your shot but it will be quite close. At around $250 for the unit it certainly won't break the bank.

The second unit from Foresight Sports is mind blowing in its accuracy. We tested it against Trakman and the variation was tiny. The unit starts at $6k and the full package can go as high as $30k

Recently we had Jack Nicklaus and his design team hitting 6 irons into the 6th green at Kileen Castle in their offices in Florida.

    I am seriously jealous.

I looked up the Launchpad and really want one. But having taken a quick measurement and carried out a quick test, it would only be good for me for irons and a hybrid. Guess I need a new house first - my ceilings are a few inches too low. :( Damn!
