    Hey People,

I need some advice on where to go for good quality work and parts to replace clutch and flywheel on my Passat (details above).

I have a quote from Cardock of €850 + VAT(5 hours labour inc). I've been to these guys on Lomabard St in Dublin a few times now for service and most recently timing belt and find them very reliable and competitively priced but this is very expensive job and I really don't have that kind of cash.

Mr Gearbox Mr Clutch in Finglas gave me a price of €650 +VAT but don't know anything about these guys. Found 1 good review and 1 bad review on web. Anybody use these guys before?

I'm looking for the best price for good quality parts and workmanship. Don't necessarily want to go for the cheap route and then wreck my gearbox or something else.

Also, what would be good brand parts for clutch kit and flywheel?

Any help is hugely appreciated and if Cardock want to contact me with a better price??;) Cardock are telling me I probably have 2-3 months left before the clutch goes completely.

    Please help!!

Don't know much about this but mileage is at 167000km, that would probably make a difference, yeah?
