P45 & P60 after being dismissed during probational period

    Should you get P45 & P60 if you were fired after christmas during probation time?

    Your old employer must give you a P45. Contact the Revenue Commissioners to apply some pressure on your employer...

    If you earned money, you should get at least one.

    If the end of your employment coincided with the end of the tax year (31 December), you should get a P60 only.

    Normally, this doesn't happen, so one would normally be issued with a P45 on termination.

    Everyone should get a P60 at the end of the year.
