do you need to carry 3bikes if noty the thule express 2 bike carrier is about the same price and I know that the quality is fantastic on all that they make. I have a platform carrier by them the past 6 years and it has not caused 1 problem

Halfords sell the Thule 2 bike carrier. 70 quid I think. Great job and folds away neatly for storage.

that's the one that you "hang" the bikes off?

you ever had any problems frame getting scratched etc on it? looking into one of these myself but i think i'd prefer the models that you sit the wheels onto. pricey though

Yeah halfords have them.. Reserved one they 82 euro and I've a 10 % discount there so 75 quid nice one thanks a lot.

Cheers Joe for the thumbs up.
I've always liked Thule stuff so was delighted to hear of this unit. Reviews are great and it clicks on and off the towbar in seconds no tools required.
    Collecting today from halfrauds
    Cheers all

Picked up the Thule express came in at just under 70 quid with discount!!

First impression was this is tiny will it actually hold 2 bikes.

Anyway literally takes two seconds to fit.. Like unfolding a deckchair onto the towbar and it's rock solid, delighted with it.
Fittings for bikes are nice and chunky too compared to my previous bike holder.

    Thanks
    Marty.
