    I certainly do not envy that pilot when he has to sit down and explain his fuel figures.

    Whilst the final decision is the Captains,i'd be surprised if he didn't contact FR OPs for 'guidance'. The cost of continuing to fly in order to burn off fuel to return to BGY and then re-arrange PAX onto another flight or wait for a fix for the decompression issue may have been more than burning more fuel flying at low level to Belgium.

    If you think about it, it makes perfect sense for the aircraft to continue flying to its destination. The incident happened 40nm southeast of Zurich. Note what's south of that. A big giant mountain range called the Alps (which by the way it was lucky it didn't happen while they were over the Alps) and it would be impossible for them to divert back to BGY because the mountains would be above them.

    So their other option is to go to an en-route alternate, but what's the point? The aircraft is still perfectly fine below 10,000 feet so if they have enough fuel to make it to CRL, then they should. Also CRL is a Ryanair maintenance base so they can get engineers to check it out as soon as it lands and the pax are at their destination just maybe requiring clean underwear ;)

    Maybe he could argue that the clutch blew up right after takeoff and so he was stuck in second gear all the way to Belgium :)

    FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

    You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

    Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
