Just got a message from the same, decided I'd google it before replying and lo and behold isn't it a scam.

Same thing happened me, car ad on Donedeal, this time from SeanMcColm (though he spells (1) Sean Mccolm ..... first clue)

You need not worry yourself about how it will get to him there in Turkey as I have a contact of shipping company there that will be handling the pick up and the paper work (5)

(2) Son graduated in Turkey? why, even if he was station in Turkey, though there are no Marines officially based in Turkey, only RAF, why didn't his sone go to college in UK where he would have free fees as his son is part of British Armed Forces..
(3) I am a Marine Corps? do you mean Im in the marine Corps, and who calls it the Marine Corps anyway
(4) Grammar (even required for the Marines)
(5) SeanMcColm ... in the British Marines? yeah right , #800years


My Reply - the car is in very good condition. there are two minor scrapes (pics attached.) let me know what kind of pictures you want, I have attached a couple more which didn't go up with the ad. The lowest price we could take is 7300 Euros as we have had a lot of enquires already, this really is a bargain. No pressure. Its up to you.

20+ - pidgin English ... I lived in a certain nameless sub-Saharan country notorious for certain scams (but i wouldn't want to paint the whole people with that brush, as they are amazing, kind, generous, loving and incredible) for over 3 years and I recognise the slip into pidgin english, would be surprised if the second email is from his little brother (who still has credit on his phone) whose business english is not up to scratch yet as he spends too much time on his phone........

My ISP seems to have stopped providing me with scam emails, and I haven't been sidetacked by such entertaining ones for ages! Love those names (must remember Jensen Ambrosio next time I want to hint to the reader that a character may not be what he seems). And the way Sean Mccolm explains that he's the dad of his son.......
