Problems with heating system

15 months ago we had the house refurbished and had underfloor heating installed in part of the house along with a new boiler. A new zoning system was also installed for the rads (up and down), hot water and the UFH.
    From day1 we've had problems.
The main problem , at least initially, was electrical - the guy wiring the system was simply not up to the job and it took me 12 months to eventually find someone who knew what they were doing to sort it out. In fairness it was complex and imo needed an electrician with specific knowledge in this area to fix it.
However, now I have 2 specific issues
    - when the rads are on and looking for hot water the boiler is running all of the time as opposed to coming on and off which is the way I seem to recall the old system working (but maybe this is OK ?)
    - I have a very annoying buzzing noise coming from the system. I had this is the beginning too and the UFH people replaced a part and it seemed to solve it but it's back now driving us crazy.
In addition I just can't help feeling that generally speaking the system isn't really working correctly or at least isn't set up correctly. Maybe the rads need an overhaul / 'balancing' ??
I'm thinking I need a really good heating / plumbing specialist to come and give the whole system a once over.
The original plumber has been back many times to fix bits and pieces, all FOC, but I think now that an independent view would be useful.
All advice welcome or if anyone can recommend someone who fits the bill can you pm their details.

As the system is new I suggest you insist the installer puts it right, or he gets someone with greater knowledge to do so. Failing that going legal might get some action.
Zoning and timers etc. are fairly simple to anyone installing heating systems.

The problem seems to be that you have had several people doing small parts of one job, not a really a good idea unless there is a specific design to work to at the beginning.

Plumber installing rads zones and distribution pipe work.

    UFH installer installing underfloor heating.

    Electrician (x2) wiring the controls.
(The buzzing you hear seems to be an electrical contactor so were the UFH installers involved in the electrical installation as well ? making it three electrical installers)

If one of these installers had the design responsibility at the beginning then that is the person who should be liable for fixing it.

If you employed the different people to carry out different parts of the system without an overall design then you must take responsibility.

But to answer your original question, yes you do need a person with knowledge of all parts of the system, involving more people with knowledge of just their specific area just makes the whole thing worse.
