These allowances just disgust me of how I am born as an Irish Person. How can this independent leaders allowance, from which I discovered is non taxable income, justify the current woes at the moment with the current government?

I mean Michael Lowry must have a stiff upper lip in claiming this allowance like other current independents, yes, 'Ming' Flanagan and Boyd Barrett included with all the others. Collecting €500,000 when the Dail term finishes in his opinion, is not a bad idea at all. Does he wish to stop the allowance any time soon?

Well it will never stop there, Oh No! There is more to swallow here.

You had within last month, TD's like Finian Mc Grath actually defending his allowance even though he is part of this 'Technical Group'.

Do the likes of Stephen Donnelly or Mick Wallace claim this allowance?

Who actually introduced this allowance again, was it the last FG/Lab government or it was from the FF/PD's?

Even again look who claims this allowance as well, our own current Taoiseach Enda Kenny and seven cabinet ministers have claimed unvouched Dail expenses.

Are we surprised at this at all. Well I don't think so. Am I glad about it even, absolutely not.

A small idea I would outline, for which are the figures are not specified, is that I would make it forbidden for Taosiagh to claim unvouched expenses while in their term of office, this would also include party leaders who are in Coalition or in opposition, this does not include independents BTW, it A Technical Group do not make a lot of difference when claiming the leaders allowance to every person in the group. It forbids me to even understand it happening.

These expenses should not be paid to those in committees either.

I think that the way the Dail is meant to be reformed IMO is this news won't change for any of them I'll bet.

Ml Lowry has a cheek to hold a pre-election fundraising drive in the Ragging outside Thurles. Why is it needed when he receives his allowance from the same idiots that pay to get him elected.
