I have a FTA box (Technomate tm 1000d) and I am having bother trying to tune in Channel 5, 5 usa and 5 * channels and their +1 equivalents.

I tried using the information given on the tuning thread but when I try to add in the transponders/frequencys the box wont recognise them, any ideas what to do?
    Thanks.

Makes two of us. My HD boox won't pick it up either. I would be interested to know why?

They moved transponder recently, try this:
    10.964, H, 22.0, 5/6

Thanks but I already tried that, the box doesn't recognise the transponders.

Can you add a Transponder manually. I have them on Astra 2A.

Have you tried deleting the old settings first. The box may be ignoring the new settings as it thinks it already has the channels.

I tried to with Astra 28 .2 but it said frequency not valid. I'l have a look to see if it says 2A though, thanks.

    Thanks for replying.
When I go into menu and into advance search

It gives me the following option

    Satellite
    Transponder
    Symbol rate
    Polarization
    Search Type
    Network Search

When I try to add TP to 10964 it says "Invalid Frequency Try again!!" :(

I take it the satellite option has to be 28.2e Astra 2?

You must be entering the frequency incorrectly, look at or edit an existing one. ANY satellite position will accept any frequency from 10.7 to 12.6 GHz.

    Maybe wrong number of Zeros?

It could also be that you have reached the limit of transponders for your receiver. I used to have a 1000 series Technomate on a motor and I would regularly get that message when I reached too many transponders. The limit was not mentioned in the manual but I think it is 1500. Try to delete as many dead/unneeded transponders as possible and try again.

Nope I enter the digits on Transponder correctly as far as I know and it still wont accept it.
On the advance search there is no where were I can edit a transponder , it just gives me a list of transponders, and the option to add one or delete one.
E.g. on the 45.0W PAS IR one the first transponder is 11.487GHZ

    The closest I get to 10.964 is [53] 10.919Ghz

Il try deleting a few transponders, although I'm afraid Il delete a relevant one as I cant tell which ones are dead.

There is 89 transponders so I doubt it is at its max but Il try deleting a few, although I'm afraid Il delete a relevant one as I cant tell which ones are dead.

Not sure if this will work on your model but in the Advance Search screen, highlight the transponder you want to edit then attempt to enter the new frequency with the number keys. You should get a message box that asks you if you want to ADD or EDIT.
