hi.. dont know if this has been answered before.. apologies for asking if it has. Have a Iphone 3GS (16GB) and recently (last 3 months or so) its started turning itself off alot when the battery is either in the mid-50 or 70's % range and it can only be turned back on by plugging in charger and waiting 15-20 mins to turn on. Brought it in to Vodafone and they went 'oh ya just hold down power button and home button until apple logo appears and it'll sort itself out' did that and since it's started happening alot more often. Have read online that it seems to be a battery problem and that changing battery is only real option... is this correct or is there a work around other than throwing it against wall? And if battery replacement is only work round how much would it cost and will there be damage/loss of data on phone?

    Many thanks in advance
    P
