A sound hire shop or party hire shop.

It's kind of a hard question to answer unless you give a rough idea your location.

Buy one off the local church.

They're always looking for money and they don't put them to much good use anyway.

    Welcome to AH.

    define podium?

is it like the gold/silver/bronze award style podium?

if so go kart tracks might have one spare, otherwise a bit of MDF and you'd be able to knock one together easy enough

Mod: Burlesque & Cabaret, Oulwans 'n' Oulfellas

    Technique appears to be successful.

    Congratulations on your Entrepreneurial spirit.

The Soapbox SuperStore is on third awell. Although they tend to be cheap and I never buy what they're selling.

Most large hotels have one for conferences they hold.
    Maybe you could borrow one?

Make one out of stale cheese. Then simply leave it there and mice will dispose of it for you.

Podiums don't suit me, no they're far too ostentatious. Plinths are where it's at these days.

OP why the fcuk do you need a podium anyway?

If you offer to leave a sizeable refundable deposit with a hotel, they might be more inclined to loan you one?
Even if they charge you a small rental amount too?

If you're looking for something in a city/town/village it's usually best to ask in the regional forum.
AH isn't really the best place for these queries as you've noticed.
