Our midfield is not stron enough for the luxury of HBA in this match IMHO, villa far better in that area

Guthrie has been head and shoulders man of the match in this game, he has been everywhere breaking up play and always available going forward. Tiote will find it hard pressed to get back into this team the way he is playing.

I know it's been said before, but Newcastle really are doing amazingly well this year; between results on the pitch and getting in some shrewd signings that they'll probably make a decent profit on. Cisse looks like another one of those signings now, to go along with Tiote, Cabaye, Ba, Santon...
