Ok so i want to change pollen filter on my 05 mazda 6 as poor air flow from windscreen vent on drivers side. So onto various sites, forums and youtube etc and all say the same remove glovebox then unclip small black panel and remove filter simple as that. So out to the car i go remove glovebox and hey no simple black panel with simple clips but a big white plastic lump with no obvious opening to remove a filter
Does anyone know the story with these. The car is a facelift 05
    Cheers

Once you remove the glovebox, there's a white panel that you pull off. A wiring loom will be a little in the way but grab the panel at the side closest to the driver and take it off. It's simple enough.
