I cannot understand why people keep going on about this lad.

With this quote below(from Wiki),IMO people like him should never play for Ireland.

He received a call-up to the Republic of Ireland under-21 squad in October 2008; not knowing he was eligible to play for Republic of Ireland national sides until a scout enquired of his availability. He qualifies through his paternal grandmother from Dublin but has not yet declared his national side, so may still play for the English national team despite playing for the Republic of Ireland under-21s.

Why did you start a thread about a player when clearly your main gripe is with the system which enables this kind of activity?

I started the thread because there are dozens of posts here asking why Trap wont call him up.

This lad is Jamie O Hara Mark II.

Just letting people know. That is all.

Pilks - Jamie O'Hara MKII? Don't thinks so. I've been chatting to him during the season and he's keeping his options open. He won't say no to a call up and is concentrating at the minute with keeping Norwich in the Premier League. He has been unbelievable for us along with Wessi and Tierney. Although I'm not holding my breath to see if they get a call up on Friday.
