Just wondering has anyone purchased a bike from Bellatisport.com
I am looking at upgrading my bike and getting a Kuota Kharma with Ultegra, on this web site its costing around €1,640 + delivery. Over here its around €2,200.
The only thing is that when they export a bike (they are a Swiss company) they don't charge any VAT. So what I am wondering is, will I have to pay VAT over here on my purchase.
Have looked on the Revenue website, and from what I can make of it, there should be no import duties/VAT on imports from other EU countries.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

    Switzerland isn't in the EU.

Yes Irish VAT is due on import from Switzerland. Germany tends to be a better bet when looking for cheap imports without additional VAT or Customs Duty costs.
