Are you sure they will deliver free from China? Not sure about that. In addition you will probably pay import duty and VAT on top of total cost of the shipment.
The costs may double your outlay so worth checking exactly the terms.
Others here can advise about the quality and warranty issues.

This is my hubbys area so asked him he said :

He says for 200 quid you can`t expect too much in the way of engineering. Its 300 watts max thats at roughly 25mph winds thats a rare wind speed. The average for Dublin is somewhere between 3-7mph (at a certain height not ground level or rooftop level) therefore the estimated average output is 60 watts.

However 60watts is not to be sniffed at but is the shed wired or 12 volt supply? Assuming the shed is wired for 240volt ac esb supply you`ve 2 options either buy an invertor to convert the 12 volt generator output into 240 volt ac supply and there`ll be losses associated with the conversion orwire your shed for 12 volts ie use 12 volt lighting and equitment. So that will add to your costs.

(They`re not putting them out at sea, at 120 metre heights and the blade diametre is not 164 metres for nothing!)

"Free shipping" stated under price (see link)
Import duty does not apply to wind generator or other solar equipment (renewable energy) - just 23% VAT.

I have a power inverter (1000w) I bought from ebay some time ago.
I bought "elecsol 100ah" deep cycle leisure battery just last week 93£ www.tayna.co.uk (will arrive next week)

60w may or may not top up the battery those days ( 2 wind turbines? + 80w solar panel? )
Long shot but worth a try

Questions need answering if quality is to prevail. What is 'Made in China' wind generator quality?

Does someone have this (or similar) product? Ebay is full of them now.Somebody must have bought them too.Owners could share information
