    Hi,

Recently bought a 3.0 estate car and have been searching online for the best possible insurance quotation. Been living abroad for the last 4 years so dont have any no claims bonus so what is the best insurance company to go with?. Tried 123.ie and so far they are the only ones to come back with a quote. Tried a few others but all say they cannot give me a quotation. Is it possible to get a decent price or is it because i have been abroad and dont have any no claims. Anyone else like this and recommend a company to go with?.

    Thanks

I'd figure the 3.0 ltr size with no no-claims would def make it a tough prospect to insure reasonabely .

Find a broker.... Or four and get them to get you a quote.... Or just ring around the usual suspects.....

Online quotes are a waste of time for anything that is not run of the mill. You need to ring insurance brokers and insurance companies directly.

To be honest, it's crazy buying a car first and then trying to find out if you can insure it here afterwards.

+1, your best bet is to ring around on Monday morning and see how you get on. But tbh, i'd say it'll be pricey...
