    Make sure your video card drivers are up to date, monitors usually work grand on Windows default drivers. Also press the "auto adjust" button/menu setting to get the display to fit the screen

    Yeah, I just updated the drivers there but still isn't working.
    Scrap the drivers problem, turns out I don't actually need them.
    But I would still like to Utilize the full 22" of the screen rather than just 21".

    Auto adjust ;) . Usually there is an independant button but if not go into menu and browse the osd for an auto adjust option

    Nope, that was the very first thing I tried that doesn't do anything at all.

    Anyway, I'm talking to a guy from LG Support now, and he said to try the DVI cable, that did work, however for some strange reason the only thing I could see was my desktop background. No taskbar, no programs just the picture that was set as my background.

    How are you connecting? Via HDMI? DVI is a good interface so if you can use that alls good :)

    I got it to work now.
    I'm using DVI yes, the other DVI ports were for multiple displays, and the one for only using one display wouldn't work until I restarted my computer.
