Lost Marriage Registration Forms

Got married last July. Stupidly assumed that all forms had been filed and taken care of.
There's a baby on the way and in the process of applying for maternity benefits we have found out that the forms were never returned after the wedding. We got in touch with our priest. He had a look and can't find it.
Does anyone know what process we will have to go through to get this sorted?

We're not married yet but when we got our MRF we were warned to take extreme care of it after we got married and return it within one month as otherwise we wouldn't be able to register the marriage.

Also your MRF says that you can get married on the date you selected but if you don't get married on that date, you have 6 months from that date to get married. 6 months has definitely passed now for you so I suggest you get onto the civil registration office and ask their advice.
