Car Keeps Cutting Out

Hi i have a 95 toyota starlet gt turbo It has a intermitent fault every now and then it cuts out as yur drivin but if your going fast enough it starts again but sumtimes it will not start at all from when i get into the car i have changed the spark plugs but still no joy i think the next on the list is a distributer would…

Some full stops would help!

When the car won't start do you hear the fuel pump prime? I'd a similar problem in an old car and it was my fuel pump relay was overheating and causing the car to stall just as you described and it wouldn't restart until the relay had cooled down.

It could be a long an expensive road if you just start replacing parts tosee if you get lucky.

When the car won't start, find out its its getting fuel and spark first and then go from there.
