Overlocker Question

hey all
I'm in dire need of an overlocker, new or second hand.
Can anyone suggest anywhere? Really don't have a lot to spend on it so cheaper the better!

Failing that, is there anyway at all I can make hoodies (thin material ones) without the use of an overlocker?

I know the Electronic Machine Centre on Parnell St in Dublin sell second-hand overlockers, but I couldn't tell you what kind of prices you'd be looking at.

Great, thanks! I'll be in town tomorrow so I'll try get in to look at those machines.
My sewing machine doesn't have an overlock feature but i'll check out a few of my familys just in case

Lidl or aldi do have one for sale every now and again

Be wary of the sewing machines from the multiples, the Singer centre in Galway had a dozen in before Christmas. i.e. they were branded on the outside but not up to snuff on the inside.
