(Yes I am aware of the irony that I've just bumped it)

One question - how come no belpark events are ever discussed on this forum?

Dave -- on lunch and on his personal phone

This 'sub' forum is about 5 minutes old! It has also been a friendly place since its inception, more or less.

On ART then :) Cannot find a single mention of any of them. Strange.

They organise some great multi-sports events. The forum is much poorer for the banning of their WAR events.

Belpark are simply trying to promote an evening for prospective new members. <Snip>

At the end of the day we are hosting this evening to attract new people to the sport and want to create a friendly environment to do so. This thread was created to provide awareness around what should be a great event.

Some of the clubs top athletes will be giving talks around various aspects of the sport including training, nutrition and racing.

Why dont you come along also for a cup of tea, and a chat? ;)

    Thanks,
    Niall

    + to Niall's comments,
There are a lot of people out there who would like to take up triathlon but find it hard to get started.
We have lots of experienced athletes who want to encourage others to get racing.
We are a very broad parish too (I know for a fact that the last time Niall saw a swimming pool was some time in the noughties!).
We have duathletes, adventure racers and triathletes and are delighted to see new members come along on the night.:)
