I got a VAG one for my toledo when I had it. I got it to clear all lights because that will be tested on new MOT north of the border. Too much hassle but maybe there is better software out there.

I use the model spefic chineese clones of the original diagnostics
With aaptop a d emulator ( programme to make it go)
Works fine
