Drinking while on painkillers?

Hi i'm gettin the sides of my toenail removed by a pedairatrist because of an ingrown toe nail at about 5pm tomorrow. There will be local anestethic involved and pain killer afterwards. My friend's 18th is on at about 8pm the same evening and i was wondering if it would be safe to drink about 8 bottles of beer that night?

Sorry if there is a more appropriate forum for this I checked each one and thought this was best. Please move if necessary.

Umm.. are you sure, were you promised that?

When I had mine removed, a full surgical procedure(plenty of scraping), I just got non steroidal anti inflammatories, that's about it.

Exactly my situation.

Go home and have a rest afterwards, there'll be a party in your foot when the anesthetic wears off. Not pleasant.

Maybe the anesthetist.
