Does being a secondary card holder on a credit card impact your credit rating?

I am a named cardholder on a credit card but I am not the main named cardholder. Does this impact my own personal credit rating at all? I know it does in the US but im unsure of the situation here. Would the main cc holders behaviour impact my credit standing also?

Thanks to anyone who can shed any light.

    Short answer - No

You are an authorized user of a credit card account. If the main user won't/can't pay you are not responsible for the debt. It will only show on the main holders details.
