Failed an exam in masters- what to do?

    So yea, found out today I failed one of my exams. Bit of a shock really as I got between 60% and 70% in all my other exams. This was the one I was worried about but was expecting at least 50%, so Im very dissapointed to say the least. In a masters can you pass without having to repeat an exam? Or do you have to repeat everything you fail? Feeling blue today! :(

    I'm fairly sure you'll have to repeat the failed one but no other exam. Know what you mean there's nothing more sickening than failing one and getting high in the rest. Best of luck!

    Depends on the course. In my MSc if it's above 25% you can pass through compensation.

    If you got below 25% then you'll have to repeat the exam, and will not be able to get an Honours Masters.

    Hi, I was just wondering how u got on with this? I just had an exam in my masters and it went horribly wrong, I'm pretty certain I failed, I was wondering are repeats capped? Will this affect my overall grade?
    Would really appreciate if u could let me know how u got on please as I've no idea what the procedure is. 😭

    If you get below 25% in any exam can the college stop you from repeating it? I done alright in 3 and borderline 40% in one, it's just I done really bad in one, everything went wrong on the day, then I panicked and I reckon I failed miserably. :(
