Hi All, you're all looking well! :D Just a quickie. I have access to about 2 acres and would be interested in fencing it off and rearing some lambs for the feezer initially and maybe gorw the flock a bit more later as I learn more on rearing etc but I presume I will need to be registered with some dept and have certain boxs ticked?? what do I need to have to keep a few sheep and is there a dept or Teagasc I can get in touch with in relation to the above?

I havent got the livestock yet, but presumably I would need 'herd no's' etc before I got the sheep??

Ring your local department office, they'll send you some forms to get a flock number.

    Where are you based?
