Astra car-floor wet in backseat behind drivers side

    Hi People,

I'm hoping somebody can help me! I drive a 3 door 2006 Astra and I noticed a problem yesterday. Basically the floor in the backseat of the car is wet (behind the drivers side). There is literally a puddle there! Nowhere else in the car is wet and I cant see any obvious leaks or anything so it makes me think it might be coming from underneath the car (I might be wrong though).

When I got in my car this morning it resulted in the inside windscreen being frozen!! That was great fun to defrost.....

    Any ideas!?

Could be a hole in the floor pan, but you would see this from underneath the car or from lifting the carpet. Its not as lightly to pool in the car if its a hole though.

I had a similar situation with a passanger footwell, thought is was blocked drains, but it turned out to be Water getting inside the door during heavy rain hitting the door in a certain way. Take off the internal door card and see if there is water pooling in the door and over flowing into the footwell.

and yeh the frozen window will happen with water in the car, even if not cold enough to freeze the window will cover in condensation and leave those pain in the hole water marks.
