98 Car with new 2 year NCT?

Just been looking at car ads, time to ditch the old banger for a new banger. Noticed a 1998 car advertised as having a new 2 year NCT exp 2014. you are right as far as i no all cars over ten years old only get a years nct because i nct'd a 00 octavia bout 6 months ago knowing nothing about this and only found out about this new regulation when it passed sickening expierence
