There was a penny sweet I use to live on when I was younger. They were orange, round and hard. Think there was twang or fizz off them. It's been wrecking my head trying to remember their name.

Nope none of them. They would have been hard but chewy!

That sounds like what we called Fizzbombs. Round, orange, hard, rough surfaced, tangy sweets. About the size of a Charlie marble. For a time an odd one would have 2p hidden inside. I'm not sure if we called them money balls for that time.

Sorry to add to this thread but does anyone remember the name of a type of sweets that were around for a short time in the mid 80s and fit the following description: Individually small, Tic-tac sized, very sweet, probably spherical and definitely orange coloured and flavoured. I think they might have come in a yellow packet and I don't think they were made by any major brand?

Underdraft, I can't say I remember them..however I do remember a Tictac shaped sweet that came in a round Xmas bauble shaped decoration. The sweets were in one half and the other had a toy you assembled...much like the Kinder Surprises of today. I had a wee guard one time and my friend had a wee chef. We used to race each other assembling them. Great fun it was.:)

These sound like the little vitamin c tablets they gave kids in the 70s I think. They tasted like orange tic tacs do noŵ and were small and round. Can't remember the pack tho..
