Just failed my nct this evening on a few different things. One of them was the drivers seat belt being faulty. the last couple of months you have to force it home and it might take a couple of tries, dont know if spring is gone or whats wrong with it? Would i have to go to main dealer to get this sorted or could i pick one up somewhere?

Pull out the belt all the way and get some wd40 into the receiver and work the belt good and proper, should sort it..

So wd40 or silicone spray on the belt and in the receiver and see if that does the job. If it does need new mechanism where would i get one?
