    Hi, I'm expecting twins soon and am a first time mom, could u please advise me How much a Childminder will charge for 3 or 4 days in Childminders home, also do I pay bank holidays and holidays, what is the norm? Your help will be appreciated!!

    Hi Carvis, Im a childminder in cork and for children in my home I would generally charge 5.50 per child and an extra 2.50 for siblings. So you're looking at roughly 8e an hour for twins. With that you'd usually be expected to provide nappies and sometimes food.
    If the minding is done in your home though, the law is to pay minimum wage, but im yet to hear of any childminders who get minimum wage :(.
