PC Wont re Start after Updates

Have a PC with below components. Have not used it in a while and reinstalled windows 64 bit on it.

When Windows does it updates the Pc does not reboot and keeps ticking over. I have to turn off and back on again....The red power button is flashing. It works ok after that but its annoying.

Anyone any solutions?

Run CHKDSK and see if there are any HD errors for a start

Open a command prompt as an admin and type

sfc /scannow

That will do a quick scan for common errors or corruptions.

Thanks ran a CHKDSK and a scannow

Window resource Protection did not find any integrity violations

Will see If I can restart now ?
