    Hi all

Was given a server that was obtained in a liquidation to pick apart. So it seems to have an X5365 Xeon processor but I'm not sure which one it is exactly as I want to get an approximate price on it.

I've attached a picture of it. Whats confusing me is it says 05 on it but the only one I can find on intel is 07:

    Any ideas? cheers

Looks to be the equivalent to a QX6850. I'd say about €150 for it?

I wouldn't worry about the year. Same model number, same processor. I thought it might be an engineering sample or something, but it appears to be retail.

If it is that one I've linked though it's worth at least a couple hundred?

    PS nice avatar :P

Found same model being sold on ebay, think I should be able to get about 250 for each

Hm, I wouldn't have thought so, given that the 2500K is less than €200, and murders even my QX9650 - which will clock higher than your chip - but who knows? Maybe for people who can't upgrade older hardware for compatibility reasons or something.
