Not really - its not his first chamber match.

Also, Ted Di Biase, Carlito, Chris Masters, Mike Knox, Finlay and Kozlov had chamber matches - why not Kofi?

WWE Title in the Raw Elimination Chamber Match: WWE Champion CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, R-Truth, The Miz and Kofi Kingston.

No Cena, Del Rio, Swagger or Kane so I guess Cena will have another match with Kane

At least now we can be sure that Cena vs The Rock will not be for the title.

If Sheamus is on the cover of the poster ya'd have to imagine he plays a big part...possibly wins the belt in the smackdown one and uses his Mania match to defend it against Taker?

I believe those covers are made months in advance, don't read too much into them.

So who will be in the Smackdown chamber.......I'd say Bryan, Show, Rhodes, Barrett, Orton, Henry.

Henry needs a break, he should be given it now so he doesnt have to risk missing Wrestlemania. Saying he picked up an injury in the cage match and is taking sme time off to let it heal.

Confirmed - Smackdown chamber will be Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Wade Barrett, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and The Great Khali.

Possibly...if not, I reckon he'll be part of the MITB match if he's kept away from the title picture by Mania.

I wonder if Edge will have some involvement at Mania, possibly some interaction with Christian

Why are ye expecting Christian to duel with Sheamus again. Sheamus beat him at two PPVs in a row already.

I assumed he would be after Big Show since show was the one that 'Put' him in the neck brace.

why is everyone so obsessed with Christian????????????????????
he is so bland. he doesnt bring anything different in ring and his promos are the same rubbish he had with the 5 second photoshoots. he is the diluted version of Edge and maybe he should be Rated-O for Over-rated

its like the whole Daniel Bryan thing all over again. everyone wants him to be champion because of the fact he has been around so long. but wake up people Daniel Bryan is one of the worst champions we have ever had. he is right up there with Khali and Rey rey.

the sooner WWE stop giving everyone "a go" at being champion the better. back in the good old days there where tons of brilliant talent on the roster that never got anywhere near the championship

maybe WWE have to get a clue and start thinking this way.

WWE where thinking about making the money in the bank match featuring all former champions. i was talking with my mates about this and we realised it makes nearly everyone eligible.

this could be a potential money in the bank match
Khali, Kane, BigShow, Christian, Mysterio, Swagger, ADR, Miz, Ziggler, Henry

Why exactley is Daniel Bryan one of the worst champs ever? He is playing his role very well imo and def has the in ring ability (observers best technical wrestler for nearly the past decade and running). The WHC is def considerd the secondary title these days too

Im assuming the potential former champ MITB thing is just another way of hyping the match and a way to justify giving some people a spot on the card like Henry or rey/christian returning from injury.

his in ring ability is unquestionable. but his "x-factor"(for a lack of a bettr term) is not. he comes across as a boring person trying to be entertaining. its notjust the gimmick he is protraying. he always seemed a bit "robotic".

a champion in the WWE should have
    - in ring abilty
    - Charisma
    - a gimmick that entertains (be it face or heel)
    - believablity as champion
    - and a natural feel on the mic

the above really is needed to have a great champion in my humble opinion.

i know this is never the case but thats why i get annoyed when everyone gets a shot at the title. people like Kofi, Morrison, Rey have Charisma and in ring ability but they should never ever be near world title status in any orginisation. unless we are talking about the lucha libre style.

Byran is a hero amongst the IWC but when it comes to actual tv or live events he is stiff and boring. his gimmick feels forced. he is trying to be over cocky but comes off as sad. and i dont mean upset. i know there is no way in hell im the only person that notices this.

as for the MITB i agree i like the idea of former champions. if anything it uses up the people on the roster that might not get a match at wrestlemania

On the contrary, I feel he is working a lot easier as a heel now than he ever did as a face. It was the same in ROH. he seemed forced as a face, natural as a heel. His angle at the moment is a bit silly, but I feel most angles which involve a green "diva" generally are poor enough.

I cant agree with your opinion but do appreciate the explanation of it. I guess my opinion of him would be more akin to Gimmicks but then again I was a fan of Danielsons before he became a WWE name (not as long back as many tho) so maybe my opinion is somewhat altered due to this.

Him retaining is a good thing imo and Orton not being in the chamber would make this much more of a possibility imo. Him vs Sheamus at Mania given both their respective pushes would also make a lot of sense imo especially as the WHC match is only likely to be the 3rd biggest match at mania.

I do wonder as others have wether Santino will even compete in the chamber though. Seems like a change that they might try to work a storyline around and although I dont want to dissapoint myself by thinking such things re-introducing someone like Christian at the EC would make sense and as always the WWE do like a surprise factor at PPVs which this could be played up as being. Then havve him head for the MITB match if there is to be one.

Wonder what other matches will be added at this stage, maybe the tag belts being defended

bryan to retain win smackdown chamber match

taminia to win by dq beth retains her title

I completely disagree with the negative Daniel Bryan comments as i think he has displayed all of the below. In fact his mic work in particular has been flawless. I have no idea how anyone could call Bryan robotic when he was roaring at Show after the AJ knock down.

Is it just me, or does this look like the most predictable card in a long time?

Punk or Jericho are the only one's with a chance in the Raw Chamber. Everyone else is filler.

Smackdown is the same. Bryan is the only obvious winner win. Khali and Santino are even worse than filler. Cody and Barrett have no chance this close to Wrestlemania. Big Show has an outside chance but still unlikely.

Cena is about to face the Rock. No way is hell is he losing here.

The Diva's match is the only maybe and thats because of Tamina's sudden push. I expect Beth to win, but wouldnt be shocked if Tamina did.

Only the Raw chamber match has more than one likely winner. And they are most likely facing each other at Mania. Sheamus could have done with a match too. Give him a competitive match against someone, not even sure who considering how poor the roster is these days. Just once he wins cleanly, and it isnt a squash.

Seems like a real throwaway PPV.

Yeah it looks a bit predictable at the moment. I feel there's a chance someone takes a spot in the SD chamber because Santino and Khali in there doesn't compute with me. I wonder if maybe a guy from the Raw chamber finds a way to enter the Smackdown chamber, say for example Dolph. That would require the Raw match to be first obviously. I'd be fine with Ziggler/Sheamus at Mania for the title though I accept this is a real long shot. This post will look great if I'm right though. :D

    Tomorrow night? Delighted.

I remember watching the first one, and it was immense.

Quick question, are the Elimation Chamber matches these days as badass as they were before? I remember watching a few till I stopped watching wrestling, kinda getting back into it at the moment :)

Well I remember the Smackdown chamber match last year which Edge won being one of the best matches of the year so they can still be very entertaining. I don't see the Smackdown one being the better one this time because you have guys like Khali, Santino and Big Show in there. The Raw one could be very good though with guys like Jericho, Dolph, Punk and Kofi in there. I could see Kofi climbing up and doing some dangerous spot inside.

is it obvious to anyone but myself that cena will lose so he can take the time off until mania to prepare for his match with the rock, i cannot see him winning at all here

Probably fourth biggest after Cena-Rock, Taker-HHH and Punk-Jericho.

I agree that the card is a bit predictable. I expect WWE have a couple of surprises in store.

    PWTorch:
On Twitter Saturday, WWE wrestler Christian teased a potential return at the Elimination Chamber PPV Sunday in Milwaukee. Christian, who has been relatively quiet on Twitter during his injury recovery period, tweeted a picture of a postcard reading "Love from Milwaukee." With Smackdown's Elimination Chamber match in flux the past week after Randy Orton was removed and Santino took Orton's spot, Christian has been subject to speculation as a potential replacement. Adding fuel to the speculation is WWE's official Twitter account re-tweeting Christian's postcard.

So would I. Orton seemed to be the only one who stood a chance at winning besides Bryan. I'd like Christian in the match but I don't see the point without him winning. Plus part of me wants to see what Santino can do. ;)

Ideally Christian will finagle his way to a triple threat match at WM. Money in the Bank win, maybe? Be quite nice for Sheamus to be getting his Rumble reward just for Christian to add himself to the match.

WWE RAW Interim General Manager John Laurinaitis has been teasing a “HUGE” announcement at tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. WWE.com posted the following: “What could Laurinaitis possibly have in store? Although there are a few clues in the tweet, whether they can be trusted is anyone’s guess since the wily GM has been known to throw people off the scent. Is he finally prepared to slip on his Technicolor tights and face off against WWE Champion CM Punk? Will he announce that the Board of Directors has named him permanent Raw GM? Will Triple H be there to finish the business of wishing Laurinaitis the best in his future endeavors? Or will The Showstopper, Shawn Michaels, make an surprise appearance at Milwaukee’s Bradley Center?”

Yeah, but he's awful. If it turns out to be true, I'd be majorly shocked. He probably wouldnt even be good enough for FCW! Debuting him on PPV seems like the stupidist idea ever.

He left TNA because they wanted him to go to development and he refused.
