    Hi all, my cousin is looking for a cheap alternative to the ipad.
    Iv heard the hp touchpad and kindle fire might be ok,does anyone know where i could get one.Or does anyone know another tablet she could go for?

    a motorola xoom, they can be picked up for cheap on adverts.ie

    the xoom 2 is out now and that's why they are low price. The only difference is the aesthetics.

    Instead of buying a €500 iPad, buy a similar performance and spec second hand netbook for about €80 like I did last year. But if you are loaded, by all means buy top dollar Apple products :D

    I'll buy them off ya for tuppence next year :D

    Like I bought my mint top of the range BMW 7-series when it was 7 years old for about 5% of the new price :D
