So I bought a pair of askiums and just changed over my 10spd tiagra cassette. Seems though that the sprockets are very loose when the locknut goes in. Do I need a spacer to throw in behind the cassette? Is this usually the case with mavic hubs?

you heed a spacer between hub and cassette did you not get one with the wheels. local bike shop should have them if not.

Yep, Mavic 3mm spacer for use with Shimano 10speed cassettes.

One thing though, With the new Tiagra 10-speed do you still get/need the 1mm spacer as comes with 105/Ultegra/DA because of the recess on those cassette bodies?

Got them second hand so no spacers came with. Il just pop in to a bike shop and ask. Cheers!
