Withdraw Paypal funds

Is there any reason not to withdraw all my funds from my PayPal account back into my bank account?

I got paid for a few transactions on eBay just before Christmas, so I've got a couple hundred dollars in there. It looks like it'll cost me nothing to take the money out and put it back in my bank account, and it's better there than in Paypal where I can only really spend it on tat from eBay.

The only possible negative I can think of is that I'll be charged an unfavourable exchange rate for converting back to Euro, and if I ever do need to pay for something on eBay, I'll be charged another rate, so it might be better to leave it in there in case I do use it down the line?

Can you change it from dollars to euros in PayPal without being charged?

Personally, I'd say transfer some of the money and leave some in PayPal in case you do buy something.

Also, you can use PayPal to pay on more than just eBay.

On the websites you buy from, look at their payment methods, they may accept PayPal.

with foreign currencies (£/$) you're better to leave it there for future purchases
if you withdraw it and then go buy again via your CC, you've gotten stung twice for FX fees
