How to eliminate a lisp while singing?

I wouldn't even describe it as a lisp to be honest, more so the faintest trail of a slithering 's' after I sing an 's' and it's kind of annoying. Any remedies?

Speech therapy will sort that out. I had a lisp for about twenty five years that I never noticed, and a ten minute chat with a therapist mate of mine sorted out the placement of my tongue in my mouth when saying S's.

Yep - this issue is to do with tongue placement alright. And it's actually a lot more common than you may think. The tongue tends to sit like a wet flannel in many mouths - blocking sound, trapping air and distorting words.

A speech therapist or voice coach can help you with this. best of luck.
