Cracks in New Stanley Oisin Cream Stove

Hi I purchased a new Stanley Oisin Cream stove.
A few days after lightening we noticed heat cracks on top of the hob and around the front. Contacted Stanley who sent out engineer after about four weeks who said it was bad enamel.
It took 3 months and loads of phone calls to finally get them to come back in January. New hob and front was fitted however it was at least two shades of darker cream then the previous shade. Then the old sides and front door have now heat cracks all over.
Contacted them again however they are refusing to replace the stove. They are now trying to blame our chimney even thought the engineer was out twice and never once said that was the fault. We have a great chimney, great pull and no down draught. Please help! What steps do I take now because it is like banging my head off the wall when i phone them.
The customer service is a joke and I am getting nowhere talking to their manager who is telling me over the phone that it is the chimney without having seen it or examined it.

Please help What would you do next.

Hi:) Sorry to hear about your stove:( The first port of call should be to the dealer that sold it to you. He should liase with stanley and as he sells stanleys products he should have more influence. You should claim for a full refund.

Also write to stanley complaints stating you are rejecting the stove due to the faults and would like a refund under their manufacturers quarantee, as the goods are unfit for purpose. Send this registered post.
If not I would contact trading standards. Is there a trading standards here?

    Stove Fan:)

Pictures of stove, reciept as proof of purchase, note of dates that Stanley engineer turned up.Get a written quote for a similar stove to be supplied and fitted with a different company.

Take a photo copy of all that paperwork, and keep it for yourself,as proof.

Then get a claim form from the small claims court, fill it out and send it into the small claims court along with all the above paperwork, and recoup all your money via the court.

That, combined with the bad press/publicity of Stanley will sort them out.;)
