Hi all, My mum was hospitalised recently & she is concerned about how it works re collecting her Widows Pension - it is likely she may be in hospital for a couple weeks - Is there anyway that I can pick it up for her?

hi,your mum can write a note giving you permission to collect her pension. Some post office can be strict on this Iwould recommend thet maybe get a note from the hospital also.

I would still complete the agent form. Hopefully your mum will soon be back to her old self, but it is handy to have you as an offcial agent. Means either one of you can collect the pension.:)
