Thanks goocy, rang him about a smax yesterday but advised me against it as they found to much wrong with it. Told me to drop by anyway as there was plenty of other cars that would interest me.

They are notorious crooks... BUT, he didn't build the cars or drive them he just has big shed in which to sell them... so if the price is right.. away ye go.

he dominates the car market in Scotland and has done for years so cant see how anybody dodgey could do that , he would lose franchises if he was . I have worked in car dealerships, if a customer rings the distributor to complain about a dealer, the distributor will be on st8 away looking for an explaination . So thats why main dealers have to be above board !

I'm sure you get good and bad with everyone. However it's the very very bad I'm on the look out for.

When I search for cars, the common dealers are cargiant and arnold clark. But there is also Evan Halshaw... Anyone ever deal with these?

I'm so sick of looking... I should get my Mondeo estate and be done with it!
