Bus/train from Galway to Laois

I'm looking for a way to get from Galway to Laois. I have checked irishrail.ie, and although they do a service to Portlaoise, their return service is too early for me, so is it possible to go by bus? Thank you!:)

Every private bus I know is listed here - sorry, not sure which ones might go thru Laois, hopefully you'll have more clues from the placenames.

What time do you want to leave Laios?
What time do you need to be in Galway?

Bueirann is probably your best bet unless you can go from Laois to Athlone or similar and change there.

Last departure is about 19:35. I can't really see you getting anything later than that unless you go via Dublin Airport and get an overnight bus.

GoBus have departures from Dublin at 2215, 2315, 0015 and 0715 (not very useful). http://www.gobus.ie/

GoBus have departures from Dublin at midnight and Dublin Airport at 2215, 2315, 0015 and 0115 (Monday only).
