I bought a dress in dunnes today. its a black skater dress and the top half is white and black stripes and has a cute little red patent belt. i want to wear it with black tights and a black blazer but all the blacks are different with the black on the dress being the most noticeably different. are different shades of black acceptable to wear?
Can anyone give me a suggestion as to what to wear with it. I want to wear it to a christening next week.

    thanks

Could you wear red tights? And/or maybe a cardigan instead of blazer if the blacks are too different?

I don't think it makes any difference if the blacks are different shades, it will still look well together! Personally I wouldn't wear so much black to a christening, it's not a funeral...

    thanks

I'm gonna wear a green cardigan (the shade thats in all the shops now) with it to brighten it up and black tights.
